Chick Flicks in England, Ireland, Germany and Mars
“Suffragette” is set in England, “Brooklyn” bounces back and forth to Ireland, “Bridge of Spies” takes us to cold war East Germany, and “The Martian” to, well, another world! There are so many excellent movies set somewhere else. “Suffragette” is a great way to experience the historic fight that women endured to gain the right to vote. Why not experience cultures clashing in “Brooklyn”? Tom Hanks is always fabulous, especially in “Bridge of Spies”. Matt Damon is absolutely hilarious, good looking, and you can take a date to see “The Martian”. Forget shopping and go see some great movies!
