Chief Chick Comments

It is rare to see General Dwight David Eisenhower depicted in films although he was the allied commander of all forces on D Day, June 6, 1944. Brendan Fraser does a decent job. I cannot name another actor who might have done better. Andrew Scott is quite good as Group Captain James Stagg, the British meteorologist recommended by Churchill, while Ike has depended on Irving Krick in his campaigns in Africa. The two meteorologists are of very opposing opinions on whether D Day can proceed. While we know the outcome, the drama surrounding the choice is riveting. I enjoyed the movie very much
