Fabulous movie with a great sense of humor even in the face of insurmountable odds as Mark, played by Matt Damon, is left on Mars when the crew led by Jessica Chastain aborts the missionn because of a storm on Mars. Damon is great and the screenplay exceptional with a good sense of humor as Damon makes a video report of the nearly 600 day mission. The supporting cast both at NASA and on board the Ares III spaceship are wonderful… Ladies you will like it and certainly the men in your life will as well. Great representation of many cultures and demographics in the space program

Drama, science, humor and great acting. It may have been a bit long, but I lost track of the time. It was completely enjoyable. I may have to go again! I certainly plan to read the book.

This movie is even better than Gravity. It has the same thrills but also humor and great music. It makes you feel good..that you can solve any problems if you work hard. It was fun to see Matt as super botanist growing potatoes on Mars...my favorite food..to survive.
