Chick Flicks Based on Real Events
Movies based on real events are a great way to learn history. And they usually are more incredible than most fiction. Four chick flicks based on true stories are out now – Belle, Million Dollar Arm, The Railway Man and Finding Vivian Maier. Belle, the first of them, is a fabulous movie about Dido, the daughter of an Admiral in the Royal Navy, and a slave. But she is raised by an aristocratic family in England. This movie is beautiful, dramatic, riveting, and well-acted. Don’t miss it!
