Bradley Cooper shines in a lovely, poignant story of a writer who struggles to be published. A briefcase purchased at an antiques store during his Parisian honeymoon is the key to his story as well as the story within his story and perhaps the story in which he is found. Bradley Cooper plays Rory married to the beautiful Dora, living and writing in Manhattan. One day he makes a discovery which ultimately and accidentally, in a way, changes everything. Jeremy Irons stirs your soul as the Old Man who tells Rory about the Young Man and his beautiful Parisienne wife, Celia. And Dennis Quaid reads us the or His? story. Beautiful cinematography and soundtrack. Charming.
