A powerful movie as Esty(Esther) finds herself lost in her arranged marriage in Williamsburg, Brooklyn New York and leaves for Berlin. We find out the reason for this unusual choice as the story progresses. Her husband, Yanky, and his delinquent cousin are sent by the rabbi to retrieve her. Meanwhile, she finds friends and perhaps a new life. It is 3 1/2 hours long (in 4 episodes), but I had to binge watch them. A very compelling story with lots of interesting information if you are not from her background.
