Decent film about the well known story of Tristan & Isolde whose love perhaps cannot be. It is in English (even though the trailer is in French). Lots of Dark Ages fighting scenes as the different tribes of England are subject to the powerful Irish King. When Tristan is assumed dead and sent off in a boat, he is discovered in Ireland by Isolde, the King's daughter who, of course, falls for him while she nurses him to health. A tournament of knights which Tristan wins and he takes her back to England, but there is a catch. Good movie to rent. Lots of fighting and blood. At times you think the movie is black and white, but it is just the way everything looked back then!
