Wedding Date, The

Kat, played by Debra Messing, has to attend her younger sister's wedding but has no date to take. Her anxiety over being single drives her to hire a male escort Nick, played by Dermot Mulroney. Somewhat predictable, but the curious cast of characters - ex-fiancé, very British groom, very American mom, crazy-in-love sister - combined with a never-ending series of pre-wedding activities makes the movie more interesting.
