In a word...DISGUSTING. Thought I couldn't hate a movie more than Anora (both from this year's best Film Oscar nominees). Demi Moore is nominated for a Best Actress Oscar. She probably should be nominated. The first half of the film follows Elisabeth (Demi) as she bemoans the end of her youth and fame; then decides to try a dark drug to make "A Better Version of Herself". Well, Actress Margaret Qualley appears from Elisabeth and calls herself Sue. Predictably, she auditions for Elisabeth's old show and is chosen by Dennis Quaid (who acts convincingly disgusting) as he fires Elisabeth and hires Sue. The Nudity is not horrible, but there is a fair amount. There is some violence for sure, but what we call at ChicksFlicks.com..."The Icky Stuff" is more than I have ever seen. I tolerated and enjoyed parts of the first half, but am totally disgusted by the second half. Don't even think about eating after you have seen this film! Streaming on Apple TV, Prime Video and others.
