In this latest version with over the top special effects, the Snow White story is retold with Snow White gradually learning to be a warrior over the course of the movie. The well known elements show up like the dwarfs, mirror, and poison apple, but the Huntsman is new. Black and White, Dark and Light play their usual role in defining evil and good, hardship and plenty. Very vivid with Charlize Theron an especially nasty Queen. Kristen Stewart plays Snow White with both the Huntsman and the Duke's son, William, in her life.
