This is a cool, charming movie starring Ben Stiller as Walter Mitty in this remake taken also from the original short story by James Thurber. Walter has an interest in a new employee, Cheryl, who starts talking to him when he reveals that the important negative for the last cover of Life Magazine is missing. In the meantime, Walter must follow some limited clues from Sean O'Connell, the world famous photographer, with whom Walter has worked for 16 years. Sean is travelling the world and Walter must find him to discover the location of negative #25 just as many of the employees are being laid off by the "transition team". Shirley MacLaine plays Walter's charming mother. Interestingly, as the movie continues and Walters real life adventures take off, he daydreams much, much less. I love this movie and highly recommend it for the whole family. Ben Stiller is wonderful!

The scenery was truly beautiful. I saw a new side of Kristen Wiig and Sean Penn. Ben Stiller was adorable and did a great job as the "hero".
Just shows us again how wonderful the world can be if we open our eyes to see.
