Don't you love it when a movie for children entertains their parents as well. There are quite a few jokes which we adults will laugh out loud even if the kids don't get it. They are happy to laugh at the antics of the animals. Max, a beagle, lives with Katie quite happily until one day she brings home a very large shaggy Duke from the pound. Things do not go well when Max and Duke disappear when out with the dog walker. While they run into an underground rejected pet "gang" led by Snowball, the white rabbit, their pet friends from the neighborhood, led by Gidget who has a crush on Max set out to find them. 90 minutes of fun. I went without a kid and had a great time!
