Chief Chick Comments

Rodriguez was an American Bob Dylan-style singer who, although releasing two albums in the 60's and 70's, remained virtually anonymous in his own country. Unknown to Rodriguez, however, his music became wildly popular in South Africa, becoming a virtual anthem for the early anti-apartheid movement. But no one in South Africa knew anything about who he was, or if the rumors of his tragic death were true. What unfolds is one fo the most amazing heartwarming stories imaginable. Winner of BAFTA and Oscar for best documentary. Must see! NOTE: This review written by my friend and guest contributor, Ken. The Chief Chick.

Reviewer nailed it. Loved the movie. It's especially powerful if you know next to nothing about it prior to watching it.
