Highly bawdy look at the mid 80's in the Cottswalds where powerful men and most women are bagging each other's spouses. Nothing seems out of bounds. Tony Baddington has money but not breeding and he owns the Independent TV Network for the area. He brings the top TV journalist, Declan O'Hara in to beef up his image before renewal of the station's license. Meanwhile Rupert Campbell-Black who did grow up in some luxury is an MP and is up to outrageous amounts of sexual activity. Early on, we see him briefly completely nude!
