One of Hitchcock's best thrillers made in 1954 and starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly. Kelly who only made a few movies before becoming Princess Grace of Monaco shines beautifully. Jeff, played by Stewart, is wheelchair bound after an accident on the job as a news photographer. He is bored, but during a hot spell begins to watch and listen to all of his neighbors through his apartment's rear window. There is a composer, newlyweds, a sexy dancer, Miss Lonely Hearts, a sculpter and more. One day something strange seems to happen. Jeff's girlfriend, Lisa who visits in her designer outfits becomes interested and since she is mobile, does a little sleuthing. Thelma Ritter comes in to help Jeff and she too becomes involved. A wonderful movie. Love it. If you have not seen it, you must!
