While somewhat melancholy, the story is interesting, and you wonder how Gerard Butler's character pulls this off as his wife, Hilary Swank, is guided through the first year of her widowhood. I always wondered how Gerard Butler looked fully shaved...he is much more attractive than with his scruffy beard. The cast including Lisa Kudrow, Harry connick Jr, Kathy Bates and James Marsters is very good.
