Entertaining Netflix series about Payton Hobart, a young rich kid from Santa Barbara California. He has studied US Presidents for all his life and is determined to be President one day. First step, be elected Student Body President. Second step, be accepted to Harvard. Of course, nothing goes quite as planned. The supporting young cast is terrific and much to my surprise Ben Platt is a terrific musician and sings great songs from time to time during the series. Gweneth Paltrow plays his Mother who who has many fine qualities but is not always practical. Yet she loves Payton with all her heart. Jessica Lange plays a deranged NaNa of one of the school girls and later in the series Judith Light and Bette Midler are front and center as New York politicians. I really enjoyed this series and binge watched over 3 days. There are 15 episodes. Most are between 30 and 40 minutes. Oh and as a bonus, the cutest 20something actor I have ever seen plays an important early role!
