Chief Chick Comments

Sam, played by Chris Pine, is a salesman for a bartering company in New York, but deep in debt. He tries to avoid his father's funeral in L.A., but his girlfriend Hannah gets him there...albeit late. He later discovers he has a half sister and nephew struggling to survive. He also has $150,000 in cash which his father wanted him to give to them. The struggle to get to know Frankie, his sister, without telling her who he is turns out to be difficult but eventful especially as he establishes a relationship with his 11 year old nephew, Josh. His mother, Michelle Pfeiffer, is also a bit distant. Interesting, eventful, and a bit emotional yet satisfying.
