Good thriller based on the book by John Le Carré. Ewan McGregor plays a professor in Marrakesh when he meets a friendly Russian money launderer who asks for his help to save the Russian's family. Perry and his wife, Gail, a barrister are trying to mend their marriage but she is still working and during a break he is invited to a party where Dima, the Russian, asks him to deliver data to the British Secret Service. Suddenly, Perry and Gail are caught up in the violent world of the Russian mob and treacherous British politicians. Excellent thriller. The length seems just right!
