Wonderful movie starring the wonderful Tom Hanks with Helena Zengel as the young girl he rescues and then tries to return to her surviving family. Now available by streaming. On Demand and others. Based on a novel the movie is a bit slow at times, and we cannot but wonder how souls survived in the old west. The haunting music of the chorus Hallelujah is heard throughout.
