Chief Chick Comments

In 1927, Fraser Pettigrew is 10 and lives with his family at Kiloran, the family estate in Scotland, with his Gamma who is very much still in charge. When his Uncle arrives with his young French fiancée, Fraser is smitten with the young cellist. We see Fraser exploring his grandfather's attic and learning about things most 10 year olds in the 20's do not know! The scenery and interiors are lovely. A charming movie based on the memoir written by Sir Denis Forman who died last year at age 95. He was a hero in WW II and later became Chairman of Granada TV in Britain and Chairman of the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden. A charmer and as you all know I always love seeing Colin Firth on the screen.
