Connie is believed to be the wife of the now dead son of a wealthy family because she was in the same train crash in which he was killed. She has a small child and the family is overjoyed that their son can live through this new life. In the meantime, the second son becomes interested in Connie who is struggling with her need to be honest and her lack of alternatives.
