This film starring lots of Hollywood stars, is amusing and a bit droll. The veteran actors don't overplay their parts, but by being understated are very fun. An orphan Khaki Scout, Sam, leaves his troop led by Edward Norton. Suzy is a misfit who lives with her family (both parents are lawyers played by Bill Murray and Frances McDormand), and for their adventure takes along a record player and a suitcase of books. As a large hurricane nears the island, the search parties led by Bruce Willis, the local cop, and the Scout troop fan out to find the young couple. Very enjoyable.
