This movie is long(the first hour seems to go on forever, but you are rewarded with a much better second half) and not meant for children. It is authentic and stirring and you can actually understand the lyrics. Yes, all the stars sing and for authenticity were not lipsynced in. Viewers seem to love it or hate it. I must say, I was thrilled when one of the major characters died as I no longer had to look at big dirty teeth!
