Close call on "Just Girls". Some men will find the story heartwarming, but... The Colonel's Wive, played by Kristin Scott Thomas is a control freak while Lisa, played by Sharon Horgan is free spirited. Set on a really dull looking military base in central England, the story unfolds as the men have just been deployed to the Middle East. Having lived on a military base in England as a teenager, I can attest that they really do look this dull and that wives/spouses of soldiers deployed worry constantly and need something else to think about. Kate and Lisa are just not getting along and when the choir is asked to sing at Royal Albert Hall, they face one crisis after another. It is a miracle that it worked out. And yes this is based on a true story. Really enjoyed it! Available on a variety of streaming sources
