I was hoping for a new story and that I got from this new version of Superman starring Henry Cavill, who is the most buff Superman yet! However, the usual nonsense of long violent special effects was just dull. The invading spaceship looked like a giant molar. Really? In this version, Lois Lane is played well by Amy Adams. There are some nice scenes in Smallville and even Metropolis, but the makers seemed intent on making this another high budget, blow things up movie. It was much too long and at the end the audience left quickly when the credits started to roll. I should mention that 90% of the audience was male. However, if you want to please your man, you won't hate it...you just won't love it.
