Some men may enjoy this sentimental movie set beginning in 1918 after World War I, but most will not. Michael Fassbender plays Tom who returns scarred by The Great War and agrees to become Lighthouse Keeper on a remote Australian island. While on the mainland he meets Isabel, the daughter of the schoolmaster, and eventually after corresponding, they marry. One day a dinghy washes up on the island and the surprise inside changes everything. (Supposedly, during this film Fassbender and Vikander became a couple) They both look amazing.
