Chief Chick Comments

Funny at times, poignant at times, yet the movie seems to be missing something. One is reminded about how your parents may have driven you crazy when you were a teenager. Joe, Patrick and Biaggio ( where he came from no one seems to know) set off to build a cabin in the woods after Joe discovers a remote spot after getting lost after a summer party. Joe's mother is dead, his sister is away and his father drives him nuts. Similarly, Patrick's parents are on him 24/7 in a well meaning by irritating way. Patrick has broken out in a rash because of it. Biaggio is a nutty kid who just appears and tags along. They scavange building materials and someone build a patchwork house with a water slide to decend to the first foor and a maibox outside! They try to catch food, but Joe ends up using the last of their cash to buy Boston Chicken. Kelly, plays a friend of the boys who is attracted to one and disappoints the other. Rent it. It is short and pleasant but not a real winner

I guess this movie was pretty good, cause it is showing the struggels teens are having with their parents and the importance of friendships.
