Worth waiting for... House of Gucci is available for streaming February 22, 2022. Lady Gaga is fabulous; Adam Driver is remarkably attractive...Wow, Who knew? Patrizia is a workine class gal who meets Maurizio Gucci at a party and then connives to meet, seduce and marry him. Her hard driving personality makes some good things happen at Gucci but many bad as well. I did not know this story although I vaguely remember the events of 1995. The stars in this films cover half a century of wonderful films starring Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, Jaret Leto etc. Despite its length, the movie just doesn't drag. My fashion rating could have been higher but too much Gucci is just too much Gucci. Loved Al Pacino. You won't recognize Jaret Leto. See it!

Seeing these stars in these roles was an aspect of the comedy. But aside from the attractiveness of Adam Driver, I though Lady Gaga did a fabulous job being Italian, both in accent and gestures. She had some terrific lines and totally owned her character. I can't imagine anyone else doing that part as well. A tragic story told with style and insight into the transitioning of family wealth.
