Filmed in black and white, this movie has the "feel" of typical Film Noir. Sometimes you feel it is a bit "tongue in cheek", but interesting never-the-less. Danny Devito is typing in his hotel room and telling the story of the characters who meet up at the hotel and how they got there. A few twists and turns make it an enjoyable story about crime and romance.
