Poirot mystery very loosely based on an Agatha Christie book. Set in Venice during a stormy Halloween night post World War II, Poirot and Ariadne Oliver venture to a Halloween party for children followed by a seance to reach the deceased daughter of the homeowner.

This story has almost nothing to do with Christie's original book except Poirot, his friend Ariadne Oliver, and Halloween. Poirot is supposedly retired in Venice when Mrs Oliver shows up to insist he attend a seance with her. Of course, he believes not in seances but reluctantly goes. Later a murder occurs after the seer makes contact with the dead daughter of the homeowner.
