I am depressed that Moonee, a bright yet unrestrained 6 year old, lives in a Motel with her Mother who is frankly a Mess! Dafoe, nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, is the motel manager trying to deal with all the problems of a low end location. I do appreciate the performances, but really did not enjoy the movie.
