Pretty cute comedy and romance starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and James Gandolfini, in one of his last roles. Eva is a masseuse and works hard to support her daughter who is leaving for Sarah Lawrence College in the fall. At a party she meets age appropriate Albert who is also divorced and also sending his daughter to design school. They begin dating and despite her initial lack of attraction for him, Eva finds him funny and somewhat charming. The complication is that she has met a new friend, and as she gets to know Marianne and also Albert she realizes that they have been married. The struggle to do the right thing or not is monitored by her best friend, played by Toni Collette, who is a therapist. Enjoyed it. Yes, you can take a date!

This middled aged male really enjoyed this movie. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was great, some real grown up acting. And James Gandolfini turned in another marvelous performance. We are really going to miss him. Definitely a take a date movie.
