Olivia Colman (Oscar Winner for The Favourite) shines as an older Elizabeth II. Really like Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip who clearly is less of a cad at this point in his life. Interesting to discover that Prince Charles moved to Wales for a term to learn Welsh so he could deliver his investuture speech in Welsh. We also meet a young Camiilla Shand. Hard to say if this version is fact or fiction, but definitely interesting. Princess Anne has a real personality in this telling also. Really enjoyed it. See it if you have not!
