Directed by Spike Lee, this story is based on the book by the lead character, Ron Stallworth, who is the first African American police officer in Colorado Springs. Bored with manning the file room, he suggests going undercover to infiltrate the KKK which is active in the town. He must partner with a white policeman, Flip, played by Adam Driver. Along the way Ron falls for Patrice who is the leader of the Black Students at the College in town. Warning: the hate displayed in the movie is disturbing. Nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture. Love the disco music!
