Loved this mini series which begins on the night of the British win against Napoleon at Waterloo as a British Duke and Duchess give a ball in Brussels during which the uniformed officers are called to fight Napoleon at Waterloo. Then we skip 25 years in the future where the real story takes place! Loved the actors, many of with whom I was not familiar although others like Tom Wilkinson, Harriet Walter, and James Fleet I know. A lovely romance with some scary moments. Navigating British Society 200 years ago was always a challenge! Available for screening on Prime Video and other streaming options.
