Richard Gere plays Robert Miller, a Wall Street hedge fund tycoon, who needs to sell his company ASAP in order to plug a large shortfall. Then an accident leaves him in even deeper water. His wife, played by Susan Sarandan, is better informed than he thinks and his two children are involved in the business as well. Perhaps this is the role which will land Gere an Academy Award nomination. He is riveting and as usual looks great. The ending is a bit troublesome, but does not negate the pleasure of seeing the entire film.
