from a best selling novel circa 1959. Serious movie about the politics and secrecy about Presidential nominations for Cabinet positions. The candidate has a past somewhat unknown in the days before the internet. The question of whether past secrets will bring down the President and the candidate in the turmoil of political intrigue. Interesting, but as you might guess, it is necessary to pay attention.
