Force Majeure (Turist)

The 50th Chicago International Film Festival continues through next Thursday, October 16th. Force Majeure is a Swedish film, part in English, but with subtitles set in the Swiss Alps. It opens later this month in the US. Johannes Kuhnke stars and is a very handsome guy who speaks English well. Being in Chicago for the film festival he began by quoting the poem Chicago by Carl Sandburg in Swedish! He is a charmer! This film is scheduled to open October 24 in the US and will be featured at two more openings before then. The scenery is gorgeous as are the actors. This movie is a great ad for the attractiveness of Scandanavians. Great music as well. Read our review in a couple of weeks when it opens.
