Roma, written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón, for Netflix is shot in black and white in Mexico City where Cleo is the young servant for the family of a doctor and his wife who have 4 children and the wife's Mother. Yalitzia Aparicio who plays Cleo works long hours and loves the children. When she finds herself pregnant, the now-abandoned wife makes sure she gets medical care. A long slice of life of a year has ups and downs and keeps your interest without maximum uber drama and while reflecting the tensions of the times.
