Interesting mystery as Benoit Blanc arrives on a Greek Island owned by Miles Bron, a tech billionaire, who gathers his friends every year for a weekend together. This year he has planned a murder mystery weekend on his island with only one employee on site. When Benoit Blanc, the world's greatest detective, arrives with the group, Bron is not sure how the detective was invited. Of course, we do find out just as murders begin. At first, I assumed this was a remake of The Last of Sheila(https://www.chicksflicks.com/movies/last-of-sheila-the for our review) a wonderful 1973 movie with beginning similarities, but not actually a remake. Here, 6 Friends met 10 years ago at a Manhattan bar called The Glass Onion. Afterwards, all achieved success with Miles and his partner, Andi Brand, starting an internet company. Birdie Jay, played by Kate Hudson was a fashion model and trend setter, Claire Debella played by Kathryn Hahn is the Governor of a state and is now running for the Senate, Duke and Lionel also are successes. Wonderful cameos with Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Serena Williams and final performances(cameos also) by Angela Lansbury and Stephen Sondheim. The Glass Onion by the way is also a Beatles song! Although a longer movie, fascinating never-the-less! In theaters and opened today on Netflix.

What a delightful movie! Great acting, as I was so convinced of the characteristics of the main characters. Miles was such a brainless egotistical social media tycoon. Janelle Monáe was fabulous in her dual roles. Kate Hudson was gorgeous and a perfect airhead. I might have to watch it a second time to fully grasp it all. Oh, and the ending was perfect!
