Will is really doing absolutely nothing with his life. He lives in a cool bachelor pad and seems to enjoy dividing his life into segments of 30 minutes….to eat, to watch TV, to buy a new CD etc. One day he meets Marcus while pretending to be a single father (in order to date single mothers). Marcus latches onto him and will not let go. Thank goodness! These are the kinds of roles for which we like Hugh Grant. He is not sexy but endearing never-the-less. Eventually he gets it. Yes, this is like many of his roles, but still a lovely enjoyable movie. So much so that a TV series was later based on the story. Toni Collette, as usual, is true to character and a delight to watch!

I liked this one... Toni Collette is a favorite. There is a sad side or I should say serious side to it b/c her character is struggling with mental illness.
