GAME CHANGE debuts March 10 at 9pm EST on HBO. The preview this evening was well attended and well received. It is the story of the 2008 Presidential Campaign focused on the Republican ticket of Senator John McCain and Sarah Palin...
Whether you are Republican, Democratic, or Independent, I believe you will believe Julianne Moore is really Sarah Palin. She is shown as a genuine, sympathetic figure just as John McCain is shown as an honorable American.
The book upon which this movie is based may or may not be accurate on what happened behind the scenes, but it makes for a fascinating story...even though you know the end already. At 116 minutes, the length seems just about right.
I expect Republicans will think it too harsh; Democrats not harsh enough.
I enjoyed it and hope HBO Films has planned a broader release.
