One of the most famous and beloved movies of all time. In any other year, it would have won the Oscar for best picture but lost to massive winner, Gone With the Wind. Dorothy Gale, dreams of adventure and one day a tornado hits the home or her Aunt and Uncle who care for her. Dorothy and Toto are swept away and land in the magical Land of Oz where there are evil witches as well as good witches. She is befriended and befriends, The Tin Man, The Cowardly Lion, and The Scarecrow and along with them travels to the Emerald City to see the Wizard to entreat him to help them.
